Victoria Dorimain

I aim to highlight my academic and professional background, my values, my projects, and my publications. It is designed to inform, inspire, and connect with a professional community around my areas of expertise, while offering relevant, consistent, and accessible content.

As a PhD student, mother and working research professional, it is often challenging to achieve a healthy study-work-life balance.

Do not measure your life by what you accomplish, but by the kindness you offer and the truths you live by.”Unknown

For the past several years, I have been working at the intersection of clinical, academic, community, and government settings, where I have developed strategic leadership in research. My expertise covers research governance, advise and support small to large-scale project development, intersectoral mobilization, and knowledge transfer, drawing on qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methodologies. I have successfully supported transformative initiatives in applied research, particularly in primary care, by promoting stakeholder engagement, clinicians, patient/citizen partners, decision-makers, and aligning projects with key departmental, institutional, and societal priorities with a focus on community and population health. My approach is rooted in the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), which I integrate into all stages of projects, from design to implementation. I aspire to become a leading voice in clinical research in population and community health.
